The Haxe Foundation's role is to support and further develop the Haxe programming language and the core technologies built around it.

The goals of the Foundation are:

  • To support the whole Haxe ecosystem by funding core technologies
  • To provide a single point of contact for Companies that wish to evaluate Haxe as a potential solution
  • To offer Paid Support Plans ensuring that somebody will always be available to answer the phone when you need help
  • To help the Haxe Open Source Community by organizing events and user groups

Organization

The Foundation"s goals and their execution are discussed by an Advisory Board, formed by the following people:

  • Haxe compiler and key technology contributors, for their technical expertise
  • Foundation Strategic Partners companies representatives, for their business-oriented point of view
  • Key Haxe Open Source Community members, for their relation with the whole community of developers

The Haxe Foundation is led by Nicolas Cannasse, whos is Haxe's original creator.
